Better Hooks for Better Buyers
Prompt bank
Prompts to help you write clearer, sharper hooks that connect to real buyer problems instead of random content noise.
Good hook rule: A hook should make the right person think “that’s me” or “I need to know this.”
Problem-aware hooks
- If you’re [doing thing] but not [getting result], check this first.
- You probably don’t need more [thing]. You need [better thing].
- The reason [problem] keeps happening is probably not what you think.
- Before you [common action], fix this.
Desire-led hooks
- Imagine if [dream result] felt simple.
- What changes when [desired outcome] finally clicks?
- The easiest way to make [thing] feel less chaotic.
- How to [result] without [frustration].
Proof hooks
- How [client/customer] went from [before] to [after].
- What changed when we stopped [old way] and started [new way].
- The small change that made [result] happen.
- What I’d fix first if I were working on [business/problem].
Hook test
Before using a hook, check it:
- Does it speak to a real problem/desire?
- Is it specific enough?
- Does it lead naturally into my offer or expertise?
- Would my actual buyer care?
